I've been writing music since the age of 13, when the immensely clever Jonathan Leonard convinced me that composing using Notator on the Atari ST was just a more interesting way of playing with computers. He was right.
Nowadays, I don't write much any more, but when I do, I use rather more sophisticated equipment than an Atari ST; the keys are provided by a Korg X5, but the sounds are produced by the wonderful Reason. See, I told you they'd listen to Reason.
